Gum Shapers® come in two heights: Short or Long.

Short vs. Long: Short (5 mm in height) normally rise above the gingival margin optimizing for fast and easy placement. Long (10 mm in height) are ideal for thick gingival tissue and provisional crown fabrication. Both provide the best form and aesthetics for your patient.

Gum Shapers are easily customizable, allowing the clinician to shape the healing cuff for optimal gingival contour during healing and after crown placement. You can add to the cuff using flowable composite or remove material from the healing cuff using a bur to achieve the desired shape.

Please note: some abutment types are more expensive due to manufacturing complexity and cost. The increase in price is listed next to the abutment type during selection if applicable.
