Gum Shapers® come in two heights: Short or Long.

Short vs. Long: Short (5 mm in height) normally rise above the gingival margin optimizing for fast and easy placement. Long (10 mm in height) are ideal for thick gingival tissue height and provisional crown fabrication. Both provide the best gum shape and esthetics for your patient.

Gum Shapers are easily customizable, allowing the clinician to adjust the healing abutment cuff, if needed, to achieve optimal gum shape. You can add to the cuff using flowable composite or bisacrylic, or remove material from the healing cuff using a bur to achieve the desired shape.

Please note: some abutment types are more expensive due to manufacturing complexity and cost. The increase in price is listed next to the abutment type during selection if applicable.
